Suspending Protection |
You may find it useful to switch Prevx Home to Suspend Mode if you anticipate receiving lots of Event messages. For example, you may be installing or removing some software. Typically, this can generate a lot of Events because many system files or registry settings may need changing.
Notes:
As a precaution, only consider using Suspend Mode if it is you that is performing the action, or it is something that you are aware of. For more information see 'Responding to Events'.
In Suspend Mode, you are turning off all Prevx Home protection, so remember to resume protection afterwards.
Suspend Mode remains in force until you restart your computer. After a restart, your protection is returned to its previous protection level.
